Early's Helmet Policy & Safety Guidelines
To ensure the highest level of rider safety, we strongly recommend replacing your helmet every five years from the date of purchase, or more frequently if you ride often. Helmet materials deteriorate over time, and evolving safety standards continue to improve protection. Any helmet involved in an accident must be replaced immediately, as it is designed to withstand only one significant impact.
FEI Requirements
The FEI does not permit riders to compete in a helmet that is more than five years old from the date of purchase.
Fit & Proper Use
A proper fit and correct adjustment of the harness are essential for your helmet to perform as designed. Even when purchased online, the helmet should be tried on before riding. Whenever possible, have it fitted by a qualified professional or seek expert advice to confirm correct sizing. When fitting your helmet, style your hair as you would when riding—typically in a low ponytail—and secure long hair in a hairnet to maintain a neat appearance and prevent it from becoming caught in tack.
Return Policy
Returns are not eligible, as we cannot guarantee whether a product has been dropped or involved in a fall once it leaves the store. We encourage customers to try on helmets in person. Our staff provides expert fittings to ensure you receive the correct size and model for your needs. Warranty Notes Normal wear of components is not covered under warranty. Damage due to misuse—including dropping the helmet—is not covered by repair or replacement programs.
