Few leafy greens top spinach for ease of growth, productiveness, and nutrition.This fast growing variety produces thick, oversized leaves with a superb flavor. Plants resist tipburn and downy mildew. It grows quickly and thrives in cool weather. Produce is generous and can be used fresh or cooked!
Plant: Before sowing, wash seeds in a mild detergent solution; rinse and soak in water for 24 hours. Direct sow as soon as the soil can be worked in the spring, and every two weeks until late spring. Sow again in early fall.
Care: Water abundantly and fertilize when 3" (7.5cm) tall.
Harvest: Cut or carefully snap off outer leaves when 4-6" (10-15cm) long, leaving center to form new leaves.
