Plant: Sow seeds in spring or in mild-winter areas, anytime of the year. Chard tolerates poor soil, but does better in well drained nitrogen enriched soil.

Care: Water regularly and feed every 4-6 weeks. Thin seedlings when 2" (5cm) tall.

Harvest: Pick entire leaf stalk, or harvest outer leaves so that new growth comes from the center.
