High yielding 2-4 lobed fruit on 30" plants. Fleshy fruit. Disease resistant."Giant Marconi" is a large tapering sweet pepper that tastes very good when eaten green and tastes super sweet when red. Widely use din Italian cooking, delicious grilled with a bit of olive oil. Strong upright plants reach about 30" (76cm) and produce peppers 6-8" (15-20cm) long. Serve raw with dip, in salads, fried or stuffed. Grows well in containers.
Plant: Sow seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Grow in full sun and keep soil temperature in the mid-70's. Transplant to garden 2-3 weeks after last frost.
Care: Water regularly and fertilize when 6" (15cm) tall and again in mid-summer.
Harvest: Carefully cut fruit from plant when full size, whether yellow-green or red, but before they begin to soften. Harvest regularly.
