Fruits of this variety are attractive and colorful - turning from canary yellow to orange-red when mature. The tapered fruits grow about 6" (15cm) long, and are fairly hot. Excellent for pickling, and for adding zest to salads and dips. Can be threaded on a string and dried for a colorful ornament.
Plant: Sow seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Grow in full sun and keep soil temperature in the mid 70's. Transplant to garden 2-3 weeks after the last frost.
Care: Water regularly and fertilize when plants are 6" (15cm) tall and again in mid summer.
Harvest: Carefully cut fruit from plant when full size and red, but before they begin to soften. Harvest regularly.
