High yields of extra large 4 ½” flat pods. Long and Oriental favorite, edible-podded peas are noted for their crunchy but tender edible flat pods with small, succulent edible seeds inside. Serve unshelled, fresh in salads, with dips, steamed or stir fried. Good for freezing. Grows best in cool weather.

Plant: Plants grow best if seeds are treated with inoculant before sowing. Plant only into well drained soil. Direct seed as soon as the soil can be worked in the spring. Replant at 3 week intervals until mid-spring.

Care: Provide support for tall growing varieties. Water by soaking soil to reduce danger of disease.

Harvest: Pick while pods are still nearly flat, just as peas begin to bulge. Hold vine while picking to avoid damaging it.
