HEADSTART® can be used to replace or supplement maternal colostrum as an aid in the treatment of Failure of Passive Transfer (FTP) in newborn calves.

Directions: Feed the first feeding as soon as possible after birth, and not later than 6 hours of age. Calves should receive a second feeding, ideally of HEADSTART® or of maternal colostrum, within the next 12 hours.
