Pkt (≈ 125 seeds)
This variety produces long, green slicing cucumbers that are tender and delicious. Can be eaten fresh or sliced in salads. This warm-weather vegetable is enjoyed throughout the world. Plants are easy to grow and vigorous. Young small fruits may be used for pickling.
Plant: Sow seed directly into loose, fertile soil after weather has warmed. For an earlier start, sow seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost. For best results, loosen and improve soil with organic material.
Care: Water generously and fertilize monthly. Best if grown on a strong trellis support.
Harvest: Pick regularly and before fruit color begins to turn yellow. Pick often so plant will continue to produce.
Your Health: Low in calories, supplies some vitamins and minerals.
