Developer: Hoffman’s Equine Developer Ration is a part of the Hoffman’s line of equine feeds. This feed is intended to be fed at 1.0 – 3.0 kg per head daily, in at least 2 equal, separated feedings. Good quality hay should be fed at 1.0 – 2.5 kg per 100 kg of body weight. This ration is intended for weanling foals up to two years of age. For foals around weaning time, feed approximately 1.5 to 2.5 kg per day. Once weaned, feed to keep growth and condition adequate. Hoffman's Milk Bits: Hoffman’s Maintenance Horse Ration is a part of the Hoffman’s line of equine feeds. Foals can begin nibbling on Hoffman’s Foal Milk-Bits as early as 10 days of age, while they are still nursing. Starting with 113 g (3/4 cup) of Foal Milk-Bits in addition to regular feeds, gradually increasing until the foal is consuming 450 g (3 cups) per day. Continue until the foal is weaned at five to size months of age. Fresh water should be provided at all times. These feeding levels are to be used as guidelines only.
