High yields of straight, dark green, smooth zucchini. Best picked when about 8" long. Bush type. The straight, slender fruits of zucchini have firm, flavorful, nearly white flesh. Plants are easy-to-grow, mature quickly, and produce lots of low-calorie, versatile fruits. Use raw in salads and with dips, or steamed, fried and baked. Freezes well.
Plant: Direct seed at about the frost free date into rich, fertile soil. Usually sown in groups of 4-6 seeds and thinned to the 2 strongest plants per group.
Care: Water regularly and fertilize when lateral runners begin to spread.
Harvest: Shortly before fall frost cut from plant, leaving a portion of stem attached. Skin should be dark green and firm.
