Few leafy greens top spinach for ease-of-growth, productiveness, and nutrition. This variety produces crinkled, thick-textured leaves, and it slow to bolt to seed. It grows quickly, thrives in cool, weather, and produces generous harvests of tasty, tender leaves. Use fresh in salads, or cooked.

Plant: Before sowing, wash seeds in a mild detergent solution; rinse and soak in water for 24 hours. Direct sow as soon as the soil can be worked in the spring, and every two weeks until late spring. Sow again in early fall.

Care: Water abundantly and fertilize when 3" (7.5cm) tall.

Harvest: Cut or carefully snap off outer leaves when 4-6" (10-15cm) long, leaving center to form new leaves.
