These beautiful, unique pumpkins have a smooth, white skin that looks polished. Fruits grow to 12lb (5kg), and are about 10-12" (25-30cm) across. Luminas's are striking to grow. The tiny seed cavity means there's lots of flesh for pies, breads, and other cooking. It's great for carving as well. Seeds make a delicious and nutritious snack.

Plant: Direct seed at about the frost free date into rich, fertile soil. Usually sown into "hills" of 4-6 seeds and thinned to the 2 strongest plants per hill.

Care: Water regularly and fertilize when lateral runners begin to spread.

Harvest: In Autumn, when skin is hard, cut from zine with a 3"(7.5cm) piece of stem attached.
