High yielding 3" double podded type. Height 28" Disease resistant.The delicate sweet taste of fresh-picked peas makes them one of the most popular garden vegetables. This variety produces heavy yields of plump pods filled with large peas. Plants grow only about 24" (60cm) tall and are very productive. Grows best in cool weather. Use fresh or cooked, good for freezing.

Plant: Plants grow best if seeds are treated with inoculant before sowing. Plant only into well drained soil. Direct seed as soon as soil can be worked in the spring. Replant at 2 week intervals until mid-spring.

Care: Water regularly and fertilize when 4" (10cm) tall. Provide a support about 24" (60cm) tall.

Harvest: Pick while pods are still bright green and shiny, but after seeds have enlarged. Hold vine while picking to avoid damaging it.
