The roots of this carrot are uniform and delicious. It is bright orange, with a tender skin and a very sweet taste. Rich in food value, it is an all-purpose variety that stores well and can be used in all stages.
Plant: Seeds are tiny and should be sown directly in the garden beginning early in the spring with just enough soil to anchor them. Loose fertile soil is best. Successive plantings can be made every 2-3 weeks.
Care: Keep moist, and don't allow soil to crust before seedlings emerge. Thin young seedlings, and fertilize when 3" (7.5cm) tall.
Harvest: Pull when carrots are sufficient size and color.
