Planting Fall Bulbs

Fall bulbs can be planted right up until the ground freezes so if you want some spring color plant your tulip bulbs this fall! Make sure all bulbs are well watered before freeze up.
If you want to have them flowering by Christmas, make sure to get them potted up in October.

When purchasing an amaryllis make sure you get a firm jumbo bulb as the small bulbs usually only send up one flower stalk whereas the larger bulbs most times can send up two and sometimes even three to give you indoor blossom longer into our long winters.
